9 Ecommerce Tech Startups to keep an eye on in 2025

I've been actively engaged in eCommerce tech for over 10 years, and here are some lesser-known startups that I’m excited about right now:
Two Boxes
Two Boxes is the missing link between your returns platforms, like Loop, ReturnGO, and Swap.
Their solution takes in your RMAs and provides your antiquated 3PL with a slick, no-code workflow app to manage the processing of returns into stock. This would be an excellent addition for anyone running Descartes Peoplevox or any 3PLs with a big backlog of returns... ALL OF YOU 😉
Particl
Particl got me hooked on their Exploding Trends newsletter—and I don’t even run an eCommerce brand! Once it's part of the workflow, this one is hard to turn off for merchandising teams and trendsetters.
Reveni
Reveni is reshaping instant refunds. I wrote about this concept 1.5 years ago, and these guys popped up right after. It’s interesting to see more prominent brands like ME+EM migrating from what I assume are now legacy returns solutions to this differentiated option.
Giftnote
Giftnote specialises in gifting for Shopify, which agency owners created turned app builders.
They’ve nailed the gifting workflow to turn gift receivers into new customers and make corporate gifting seamless.
Paccurate
Paccurate has tackled an issue I’ve thought about a lot in my ten years of selling warehouse software.
Their software calculates the exact packing configuration for every product combination and sends it directly to your WMS via API. Precision packing at its finest!
Flare
Flare offers order scheduling for purchases where timing matters. Shopify often requires payment and immediate shipping, but Flare changes that for the 5-10% of purchases where timing is crucial, like wedding or baby registries, furniture for renovations, or birthday flowers—products you want reserved but delivered later.
Heatmap
Heatmap is slightly outside my usual back-office focus, but market indicators are strong on this one.
The agencies I trust are using it, and Pari Passu Venture Partners invested in its Series A.
Brij
Brij bridges the gap between online and offline. They have some impressive case studies, with brands converting up to 80% of Wholesale customers into known customers.
Implentio (Wildcard)
Implentio is one I’d like to know more about. Reconciling invoices from carriers, 3PLs, and other vendors is a significant pain for Operators. Solutions that catch human-missed mistakes can lead to big savings.
I’ve seen plenty of low/no-code tools using AI to surface this data, but this seems like a highly specialized solution. I’d love to chat with anyone using it right now.
