Oliver Rhodes
I’m Oliver Rhodes, a tech advisor in ecommerce and retail. I work with product-driven brands on the systems, tools and operating models that let teams move faster without creating more complexity.
I’m the Co-Founder of NOLO, an AI transformation agency and operating system for brand operations. We build practical Airtable apps and frameworks for teams who need scalable software but don’t want the cost, drag or rigidity of traditional custom development.
My ecommerce technology work spans more than 14 years. At Peoplevox, I grew from an early employee into leading sales and marketing, helping scale the business from bootstrap to a £20M exit to Descartes Systems Group. Later, at SupplyCompass, I worked deeper into product development cycles and saw how low-code systems could change the way brands operate behind the scenes.
Today I advise brands and operators on AI transformation, ecommerce architecture, software selection, inventory, order management and the unglamorous operational decisions that determine whether growth compounds or clogs up the business.
NOLO
01 / Agency
NOLO helps ecommerce and retail brands turn operational knowledge into working systems. We build custom software using AI and automation, choosing the right tool for the job rather than forcing every problem into one platform.
Airtable is often part of our stack — it’s where we started, working with brands like Jaded LDN, RIXO and Hype — but we now work across a wider set of tools and frameworks. The broader mission is to help 1,000+ operators transform how their teams run product operations, using accessible, customisable software in the same spirit Shopify brought to ecommerce storefronts.

03 / Things I’m part of
I’m not a full-time investor — I’m a believer. I put money, time and advice behind operators and products I’ve seen the need for first-hand. These are the teams I’m cheering on from close range.
Investor

I backed Hamish and the team because I’d lived the problem: customers need to change an order after checkout and most brands make it painful. Order Editing makes it effortless.
Investor
Prebuy
Pre-order is one of the smartest ways to de-risk product launches and build demand before you commit. I’m excited to be part of Prebuy as they make that accessible to more brands.
Advisor

Wawwa is proving you can build a clothing brand around pre-order, made-to-order and a permanent collection — and still make the numbers work. I advise on operations and systems.
Investor
EMFAS
EMFAS is building an AI-native PIM for ecommerce — the kind of product information layer that actually matches how modern brands create, manage and launch products.
